For many students, teachers, and educational professionals around the world, learning looks very different to how it did 12 months ago. That’s why the focus of this year’s International Day of Education is recovering and revitalizing education for the COVID-19 generation.
The pandemic has not only caused school closures and a whole host of corresponding logistical problems but also enormous emotional upheaval for students, teachers, and their loved ones. But educators everywhere have risen to the challenge and found new ways to make learning effective and engaging, whether it’s face-to-face or online. Today is an opportunity to celebrate innovation and the education heroes who champion it and we’ve included some of their stories via our content partner, Brainwaves Video Anthology.
